Why does my product seal have small holes in it?

Some seals have a small pinhole to safely release built up pressure from the product, especially for powders or effervescent formulas. This helps prevent the seal from bursting during shipping and keeps the product fresh. It’s part of the packaging design and not a defect.

What is Gold Standard 100% Whey and why should I use it?

This product is a high quality whey protein powder designed to support muscle growth and recovery. It delivers around 24 g of protein per serving and about 5.5 g of naturally occurring BCAAs (branched chain amino acids). It’s made with a blend of whey protein isolate, concentrate and hydrolysed isolate, making it fast absorbing and effective.

Is this product suitable for vegetarians or vegans?

It is suitable for vegetarians, as it uses whey protein derived from milk. (Note: vegetarians who consume dairy are fine; this is not vegan-suitable.) The main protein source is milk derived whey. If you are vegan or avoiding all animal derived products, this would not be appropriate.

Why does my Optimum Nutrition tub no longer have an outer plastic seal?

Optimum Nutrition has updated its tamper evident sealing system as part of a sustainability initiative, moving from an outer plastic seal to an internal induction seal across the neck of the tub to reduce plastic use. The induction seal may include small perforations, which are completely normal and do not affect product safety or quality. During the transition, you may see both old and new sealing styles in the market. Whether your tub has an outer seal or not, it is authentic as long as the internal induction seal is present.
