PRODUCT REVIEW: ADRENAL SWITCH
My curiosity for Nootropics began many years ago when I wanted to know how to support my general mental wellbeing, focus and motivation. As a self-proclaimed fitness nerd, I spent hours reading studies and learning the good from the bad information. I wanted to retain as much as possible of what I was learning. I researched and tried many different nootropic supplements.
Some are well studied, others not so much. This can make it difficult to know which ones are useful.
I've noticed more and more nootropics or "Smart Drugs" appearing in sport supplement formulas. It makes sense that anything that helps with motivation, recovery and cell protection would make its way into a sports supplement, where optimal performance is key. My favourite supplement, Creatine, is also widely discussed in the context of nootropics. (If you aren't currently taking creatine monohydrate, I highly recommend it).
That brings me to Ashwagandha. Sounds magical, right?
I've noticed it popping up in more and more products. When I first tried it, it was a terrible tasting powder. Now I've managed to get my hands on a product called Adrenal Switch from Elite Supplements. What I love about this product is that it tastes great (unlike most Ashwagandha products). It has a thoughtfully formulated blend of well-researched ingredients. If you want something that will benefit your performance and recovery, this is a must have.
